Fall/winter Fashion Weeks 2011

As you may know already from earlier posts, last Fashion weeks i was lucky enough to be able to see some shows at London Fashion Week here at Somerset House. Seeing the Spring/Summer 2011 collections was breathtaking and a little overwhelming as it was the first Fashion week and Catwalk show i had attended. So know the time has come for the Fall/winter 2011 Fashion weeks to take centre stage and wow us once again with reinvented trench coats and autumnal shades. Fashion week has already kicked off and heres the Main show schedule for January....

Shoreditch, my East London home is becoming one of the "coolest" and trendiest places to live nowadays and I can totally agree with this. Not long ago the place was a run down part of East London which was pretty unsafe and grim. 5 years on and the area close to Old Street tube station is filled with art and fashion students crawling from either exhibition to exhibition or bar to bar. This comes as no surprise as the area is now bursting with Fashion and Art exhibitions, cool and quaint cafes and bars and stores such as American Apparel, All Saints and the new-by to Spitalfields...Urban Outfitters. Oh and how can we forget the amazing vintage stores along the famous Bricklane. With Beyond Retro hiding just around the corner.
